Dümmen Orange is seeking further development in Japan

Hugo Noordhoek Hegt (CEO) and Perry Wismans (ExCo-member for Business Development) recently visited Dümmen Orange’s office in Shizuoka, Japan. Their visit is underlining the company’s ambitions in the Japanese market.

“A business trip to Japan had been planned for much longer, but due to COVID-19 we had to postpone it several times. I'm really glad we're here now,” says Hugo Noordhoek Hegt.

The Asia-Pacific region is one of Dümmen Orange’s key growth areas. Perry Wismans, responsible for the region in the Executive Committee, will provide his expertise to regionalize production and expand products and channels.

“I have worked with Perry on many occasions and know him to be someone with superior knowledge of products and production,” says Nick Bennett, Managing Director Asia-Pacific. “Perry's knowledge and insights will help us to develop further in the region and help our clients to become more successful.”

Having a proud legacy in Japan, Dümmen Orange is firmly committed to the Japanese market. The company invests accordingly. In February of this year, the Japanese team moved into a brand new office in Shizuoka. By further investing in the company’s infrastructure and capabilities in Japan, Dümmen Orange reaffirms its mission to work closely with growers and value chain partners to inspire consumers and create a better, more beautiful Japan.
