Dümmen Orange launches direct sales of rooted and unrooted cuttings in Japan. The company is bringing its entire assortment of annuals, perennials and pot plants to the country, fully supported by its Sales and Customer Services teams. Growers in Japan will now get the best opportunity to access world-class genetics of over 70 crops.

‘We are very proud to work directly with finished plant producers in Japan, in addition to our licensing business,’ says Tetsuya Obara, Commercial Director. ‘We will be able to offer a wide range of products to Japanese producers and distributors. Our innovative portfolio provides new solutions, new series and new varieties to customers all over the country.’

For its rooted cuttings, Dümmen Orange is partnering with Jardin Corporation. Tetsuya Obara: ‘The rooting of cuttings in Japan is a great change for Dummen Orange. We are very pleased to share with Jardin Corporation the desire to contribute to the Japanese flower industry by taking on this new challenge and supply domestic growers with high-producing varieties.’

For this year, Dümmen Orange’s offer consists of the following crops: Kalanchoe, Poinsettia, Dahlia, Petunia, Calibrachoa, Verbena, Pot Chrysanthemum, Pelargonium, New Guinea Impatiens, Osteospermum, Coleus, Lavender, Pot Carnation, Begonia Hybrid and Succulents.
