Dümmen Orange presents innovative retail solutions at the Chiba Pack trials in Japan
Dümmen Orange debuted with a series of innovative retail solutions at the Chiba Pack Trials in Japan. The event garnered great success, attracting over 500 visitors. Dümmen Orange’s presence marked the launch of its direct sales of unrooted and rooted cuttings in the domestic market, a significant milestone in the Asia-Pacific region. Showcasing more than 200 varieties, including standout selections like Santana Pelargonium and Ladiva Lavandula, Dümmen Orange received positive feedback from visitors, who expressed their approval for the overall organization and the presentation of comprehensive retail solutions. The trials demonstrate Dümmen Orange‘s commitment to delivering innovative and high-quality plant varieties to the Japanese market, further strengthening its presence in the region.

Dümmen Orange showcased an impressive array of more than 200 varieties of Annuals, Perennials and Pot Plants, highlighting the breadth and diversity its collection. Each selection was chosen to showcase the culmination of meticulous breeding efforts, combining exceptional beauty, vigour, and adaptability. Dümmen Orange also announced that 12 of the displayed crops are now available for direct sales in Japan, allowing Japanese growers to benefit from these excellent varieties in the wholesale and retail markets.
Josep Maria Padrosa Benet, Team Manager & Crop Lead of APP products from Spain, provided invaluable support to the trials. Josep shared his extensive technical knowledge and experiences with the team and Japanese growers, adding tremendous value to the event.
The highlight of the trials included the enchanting Santana Pelargonium, the elegant Ladiva Lavandula, the unique and fascinating Freaky leaves, and Dümmen Orange’s captivating Pot Carnations. Visitors liked the meticulous attention to detail in Dümmen Orange displays and the extensive array of materials provided for retail solutions. These materials including Pot Labels, Tray Labels, and Gift Bags, showcased innovative and eye-catching methods to present and promote pot plants in retail settings, ensuring they stand out and attract customers.
