Customer Service - Dümmen Orange Japan

Dummen Orange Japan is a global company in the field of flower breeding and development, and we are looking for a customer service (ordering and receiving) person. 

This is a company with a mission to maximize the distribution of Dummen Orange varieties in the Japanese market and to take on challenges that the industry has not seen before. The company is constantly undergoing various operational improvements and system changes, so there are many opportunities for advancement and reassignments for those who are able to take the initiative in dealing with issues and have a bird's eye view of the whole process.

We are looking for a person who is able to work globally while developing language skills through daily interactions with overseas growers. 

Job details

• E2E handle orders from APAC customer (Great China & ROA), and handle substitutions and claim when problems occur with quick response.
• Request production plans for seedlings to overseas production bases (sales coordination) 
• Procedures for importing plants from Spain/Vietnam/the Netherlands, etc., from sorting to shipping. 
• Arrangement of documents for customs clearance/sorting and shipping at Narita Airport, instructions for shipping, etc.
• Ordering and receiving of seedlings from domestic growers, substitutions and refunds when problems occur.
• Keep track of regional performance, report metrics & KPI.

Expectations

There are still inefficiencies in our ordering and receiving operations. We are looking for someone who can make continuous improvements and reforms while learning the business.

Your profile

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Business level English proficiency 
• Experience in tangible commercial products (customer service, , purchasing, procurement, logistics planning, logistics trade practices, etc.) 
• Experience in business improvement.
• Proficient computer skills in MS Office applications, experience with ERP systems
• Ability to deal with changing environments and problem solving

Languages

• Advanced English

Academic Qualifications

• University Bachelor Degree or above
